However, the residents of Stonegate are not going to benefit from this, as Class 202 1012 (with S60016 leading) & Class 201 1004 speed non-stop through their station with the 10:10 Charing Cross to Hastings service on 15 March 1986. These vintage units would be replaced by EMUs just two days after this picture was taken.
