Despite appearances, 1110 is actually approaching the camera in this view taken at Ludgershall on 22 March 1986. It is working one the 'Tiddly Dyke' shuttles from the Army depot into the old station platform, and obviously the very short distance involved doesn't justify altering the headcode! This area looks completely different now, if indeed you could see it through the present jungle of trees. The bridge in the background is now merely a footbridge, with a new roadbridge constructed behind it.
