Who would have thought when this picture was taken, that something as unloved a Class 141 Pacer unit would find itself preserved on a heritage railway. That's exactly what has happened to 141103, seen here approaching Normanton on 30 August 1993 with the 10:06 Sheffield to Leeds (via Castleford) service. It is now on the Weardale Railway, resplendent in pseudo Great Western chocolate and cream livery. |
