A meeting of Pacer types at Woodlesford on 14 October 1995. 141105 accelerates away from Woodlesford station (Just beyond the bridge in the background) with the 12:07 Sheffield to Leeds service, whilst a Class 144 approaches the station with the 13:10 Leeds to Castleford train. The Class 144s went on to have long (too long?) lives, but the 141s were nothing like as successful, with the longest lived only lasting 13 years. 141105 was exported to Iran just weeks after this picture was taken. |
