153311 passes Verney Junction in soft winter afternoon light on 18 February 2025 with the 2Q30 11:55 Derby RTC to Derby RTC (via Milton Keynes and Oxford) Network Rail test train. This was running 20 minutes late after a protracted reversal at Fenny Stratford. The newly installed noise barrier means that a single car DMU is the ideal thing to photograph at this location, but looking at the row of newly planted saplings, it may not be possible to photograph anything in a few years! Verney Junction's former stationer master's house can be seen through the trees on the right.
