Who would have thought that a Turbo unit could generate this much interest! It is of course the location that makes this picture significant, and the juxtaposition of a relatively modern unit and vintage infrastructure. 165001 pulls out of Chinnor station, and heads for the sidings on 5 October 2013, after having worked in with the 1C04 11:12 service from Princes Risborough. The unit had earlier arrived with the first ever through train from Aylesbury to the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway. Note the reflection of the Chiltern Railways branding in the trackside mirror on the right.
