November 2012 seems to have settled into a regular routine of traveling the short distance to the Oxford area to see the 56 hauled 6Z91 10:55 Calvert to Didcot Power Station flyash empties. This invariably means photographing the DMU that precedes it along the single track Bicester to Oxford line. I thought I would try a different angle at Islip on 8 November 2012, to show the train passing the station's small car park. An everyday subject, but I certainly wasn't going to pass up the opportunity of a picture in such stunning lighting conditions. With a thick mass of dark clouds to the north, 165010 approaches the station with the 2L11 11:30 Bicester Town to Oxford Chiltern Railways service.
