The change of gradient is clearly visible, as 165015 & 165007 take the new chord at Bicester South Junction on 10 June 2018 with the 1T49 17:28 High Wycombe to Oxford Chiltern Railways service. The severe gradient is necessary as the line needs to reach the foreground field level within a few hundred yards.
