Although the Bicester to Oxford line is mostly in open countryside, the section between Bicester Village station and Wendlebury passes through an avenue of trees. 165034 & 165016 negotiate this section on 30 January 2025 with the 1T17 09:06 Marylebone to Oxford service, which most unusually for a Chiltern Railways train, was running 15 minutes late. The signals controlling the entrance to Bicester Army Depot can be seen in the background.
