With the splitting of the Turbo fleet between Reading and Bristol, the type has become relatively common visitors to the Great Western Mainline once again. They had not been generally seen since the aborted Oxford to Bristol passenger service of the late 1990s. 165101 & 165105 slowly approach a red signal at Challow on 11 July 2018, as they prepare for a brief stop on the down relief line, whilst working the 3Z34 12:20 Reading Traincare Depot to Worcester Shrub Hill ECS.
