Most First Great Western services on the Cherwell Valley route are operated by two car Class 165 units. As the trains are primarily a local service, serving Tackley, Heyford and Kings Sutton stations, the limited capacity is adequate, as Oxford to Banbury passengers can also use the quicker CrossCountry trains. However, this train has originated from Paddington rather than Oxford and consequently a three car unit is used. 165104 accelerates away from Kings Sutton 3 June 2011 with the 2M50 15:57 Paddington to Banbury service. |
