165110 passes Wolvercote on 19 January 2015 with the 2L45 12:42 Banbury to Oxford First Great Western service. The trailing point has been installed, but little other work has been carried out recently to bring this section of line back to four tracks. The trees on the extreme left mark the edge of the Wolvercote Lakes Nature Reserve, a former gravel pit, which after many decades in private ownership, has now been opened up to the public courtesy of the Oxfordshire Preservation Trust.
