The majority of Cotswold Line services are now either worked by Class 180s or HSTs. However, Turbo units still put in regular appearances, either as Class 180 replacements, or as in this case on the local trains to Moreton-in-Marsh. On 20 February 2013, a brief burst of sunshine illuminates 165111 as it passes Shorthampton with the 1W33 13:21 Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh First Great Western service. The farm occupation bridge in the background has served no practical purpose for decades, as it is completely impassable due to bushes and brambles. |
