On 24 July 2008, 165112 has just pulled out of the short siding visible in the background and is moving slowly forward into Bedwyn station, where it will form the 10:37 Bedwyn to Paddington First Great Western service. It had working in as the 09:18 Paddington to Bedwyn, and then used the crossover to access the siding. Bedwyn station is in the village of Great Bedwyn, and the tower of St Mary's church can just be seen on the right. No doubt not helped by the popularity of the station, the village's narrow streets can easily get choked with cars. |
