The sunlit chimney and cooling towers of the doomed Didcot Power Station rise eerily out of the early morning fog on 26 September 2015. In the foreground, 165114 approaches Culham with the 1D09 06:51 Paddington to Oxford GWR service. Just visible beneath the chimney is the top of the power station's turbine hall. Just over an hour after this picture was taken the coal bunkers attached to this were blown up, as part of the station's clearance programme.
