165115 passes Kings Sutton on 28 July 1994 with the 16:15 Paddington to Stratford-upon-Avon Network SouthEast service. This is not quite the ordinary picture that it appears to be at first glance, as 165115 was the unit that was destroyed in the Ladbroke Grove accident in 1999, and therefore there are far fewer pictures of it use, compared to all its classmates. In fact, no other Class 165 or 166 vehicle has so far been withdrawn, and whereas both fleets have now put in over a quarter if a century of service, this unit only lasted seven years.
