165117 heads north along the Cotswold Line near Cassington on 11 May 2018. This is not quite the normal scene that it appears to be, as it is in fact the 5W11 07:20 Oxford to Moreton-in-Marsh ECS. This started out as the 1W11 05:12 Paddington to Oxford GWR service, but at Oxford there was apparently an issue with the train crew (presumably the lack of a guard), and so it carried on as empty stock. As the unit also came back from Moreton-in-Marsh as empty stock, the whole trip north of Oxford seems to have been a complete waste of time!
