The first train of the morning (unless you count the one just after midnight) prepares to call at Culham on 10 July 2002. Didcot Power Station dominates the background as 165118 slows down for the Culham stop whilst working the 2C08 06:00 Reading to Oxford Thames Trains service. A deliberately more side on view was used here to include all the cooling towers, a ploy that will obviously only work with a short train such as this, especially with a short telephoto lens.
