165119 Ascott-under-Wychwood 22 February 2003

Viewed from Ascott-under-Wychwood signal box, 165119 comes off the double track section of the Cotswold Line on 22 February 2003 with the 09:43 Worcester Shrub Hill to Oxford Thames Trains service. Ignore the Moreton-in-Marsh destination blind, as the train has already passed through that station! Ahead is 14 miles of single track all the way to Wolvercote Junction. 165119 retained its Network SouthEast livery until very near the end of the Thames Trains franchise and ironically once repainted into that company's colour scheme spent longer being operated by the successor company (First Great Western) again in the wrong livery. Always one step behind in terms of livery!
