165119 approaches the ungated level crossing at Oddington on 24 May 2010 with the 07:09 Didcot Parkway to Bicester Town First Great Western service. This quiet backwater will soon be completely transformed, with the single track vintage bullhead rails replaced by a double track of continuously welded rail, and the level crossing replaced by a bridge. All this work is in connection with Chiltern Railway's ambitious project to create an alternative Oxford to London service via Bicester. This of course will also see FGW Turbos replaced on the route by Chiltern Railway units.
