On 7 March 2011, during the final months of First Great Western operations on the Oxford to Bicester route, 165124 approaches Oddington with the 2L11 11:30 Bicester Town to Oxford service. Chiltern Railways will acquire the route and after extensive modifications it will become part of their through route from Oxford to London.
