The Oxford to Bicester line reopened to passengers in 1987 (after closing in 1968) and was initially operated by Network SouthEast. This naturally morphed into Thames Trains and then First Great Western. However, from 28 May 2011 Chiltern Railways will take over the route. On a cloudless 4 May 2011, 165124 passes the oilseed rape fields at Wendlebury with the 2L08 10:00 Oxford to Bicester Town service. |
