If you need a six coach train in the Oxford area, the answer is obviously two three car Class 165s or 166s. The other less used option is three two car Class 165s, as seen here. 165125, 165131 & 165126 pass Hinksey Yard on 20 January 2016 with the 2P58 14:07 Oxford to Paddington GWR service. On this occasion a serious trespass incident at Royal Oak closed all lines into Paddington, therefore this train, along with many others, was terminated at Reading.
