165125 rounds the curve between Shorthampton and Chilson on 6 May 2011 with the 2E95 17:31 Oxford to Worcester Foregate Street 'all stations' First Great Western service. A very convenient gap in the tall lineside hawthorn bushes has allowed this viewpoint of Ascott-under-Wychwood's newly installed down distant signal. This and the recently re-laid up line in the foreground have yet to be commissioned. I had hoped that there was just enough of a gap here to fit a two car unit in without obscuring the trackside tree or All Saints Church, Spelsbury, which can just be seen in the distance. As the church is visible right behind the rear of the train, I obviously guessed correctly!
