165125 crosses the bridge over the River Cherwell at Hampton Gay on 20 August 2001, with the 17:27 Banbury to Oxford Thames Trains service. In the foreground is the disused bridge that formerly carried the single track Woodstock Branch. This line ran alongside the mainline from Kidlington station, only diverging to the west just after this bridge. The line closed in 1954, nearly a decade before the famous Beeching report. The track was lifted in 1958.
