After three failed attempts, I have finally managed to get a picture of the 2E14 17:04 Didcot Parkway to Evesham GWR service calling at my local station, Ascott-under-Wychwood. This train, which is the only down train of the day to call at Ascott, is frequently cancelled, and as in order to photograph it I have to leave home before the train leaves Oxford (where it often terminates), it becomes something of a lottery. 165126 is pictured arriving at the station on 4 August 2025, running 13 minutes late, which has unfortunately meant that the shadows have become quite intrusive. This late running is quite normal. 35% of the time so far in 2025!
