165132 approaches Didcot North Junction on 8 December 1992 with the 2C31 10:58 Oxford to Reading Network SouthEast service. It's unbelievable now that this location was ever as open as this, and what is equally astonishing is that I didn't take more pictures from this much wider viewpoint. I seem to have mistimed this one slightly, as with such a short train I should easily have been able to avoid partially obscuring Appleford Signal Box!
