165137 slowly passes a pile of new track panels at Wolvercote on 25 June 2018, as it works the 2M54 17:01 Reading to Banbury GWR service. It was approaching a red signal, as the 1P40 17:38 Moreton-in-Marsh to Paddington HST was crossing over from the Cotswold Line at Wolvercote Junction, a short distance to the north. The HST was 15 minutes late, and the DMU was 20 minutes late, which just about sums up the atrocious timekeeping that we have now come to expect from GWR!
