166216 accelerates away from Ashchurch for Tewkesbury station (just visible in the distance) on 2 June 2022 with the 2E48 06:10 Bristol Temple Meads to Great Malvern GWR service. Although I knew beforehand that this unfortunately wasn't going to be one of the few units still in First Great Western blue livery, it was still worth the effort in order to get a picture in the fine early morning light. Only during midsummer is it possible to take a picture with the sun on the front at this location.
