Photography on the Severn Beach line is difficult, especially at the northern end, with some quite extensive lineside vegetation. However, just south of Severn Beach station there is a gap in the undergrowth of sufficient length to photograph a three car DMU. 166216 gets underway from the station on 26 March 2022 with the 2K43 16:01 Severn Beach to Bristol Temple Meads GWR service. The splash of yellow in the bottom left of the picture is a clump of daffodils managing to survive in the thick bramble patch.
