I'm not quite sure what the significance of the chevron patch on the front is, unless it is some tape holding bits of trim on! Incidentally, this image clearly shows the superb full aperture quality of the Canon EF-S 60mm f2.8 Macro lens. Very few lenses are this good wide open!
