166221 Reading Traincare Depot passes Shorthampton on 10 August 2016 with the 2Z32 10:56 Worcester Foregate Street to Oxford GWR service. This location is rapidly becoming extremely overgrown, despite all the lineside vegetation being cut back in 2009, in preparation for the Cotswold Line redoubling. Network Rail only ever do major clearances such as this, and otherwise do not do any lineside maintenance whatsoever. Just look at how close the bushes now are to the down line. And they wonder why they have problems with leaves on the line in the autumn!
