Normally, like most railway photographers, I tried to avoid having track workers in the picture, as their high-visibility clothing immediately attracts the eye, and spoils the picture. However, at Bishops Itchington on 26 March 2012 this pair stopped to acknowledge the train in exactly the right position to actually compliment the picture, especially as they are either side of the train, and both with hands raised, although maybe it looks a little odd, as they are looking towards where the train was a fraction of a second earlier! 168107 speeds by with the 1H29 09:55 Birmingham Moor Street to Marylebone Chiltern Railways service. |
