168112 passes Oddington on 9 June 2017 with the 1T31 12:35 Marylebone to Oxford Chiltern Railways service. This picture clearly illustrates why I don't normally take pictures during the middle of the day during the summer. Although the average person thinks the bright sun is ideal for photography, the very high overhead angle gives very poor modelling, and harsh shadows. The only reason I was here was to photograph Flying Scotsman, which also explains the people wandering up the gravel road (there were lots more on the bridge as well). |
