168216 approaches the site of Dorton Halt with the 10:52 Birmingham Snow Hill to Marylebone Chiltern Railways service on 24 May 2010. This small station opened in 1937 and closed in 1963, along with a number of other rural stations on the route. At least the line itself survived, and after a period of stagnation that saw it reduced to a single track, is now once again thriving.
