A new footbridge near Brookfurlong Farm, just to the north of Islip, spans the recently upgraded Bicester to Oxford line. This picture, taken on the evening of 16 August 2016, shows 168322 passing this new vantage point with the 1T50 17:18 Marylebone to Oxford Parkway Chiltern Railways service. The bi-directionally signalled line was being fully exploited on this occasion, with all trains effectively running 'wrong line'. In the background on the right a combine harvester is at work, and Charlton-on-Otmoor church can just be made out in the extreme distance.
