This is on the recently upgraded and doubled former LMS Bicester to Oxford line, which explains the lack of lineside vegetation and the new lineside fences. Note how the further of the two fences in the background follows the contours of the medieval ridge and furrow field system, which is presumably associated with the nearby Oddington Grange.
