170101 passes the closed station at Rearsby on 28 March 2012, as it heads eastwards with the 1L36 10:22 Birmingham New Street to Stansted Airport CrossCountry service. Now a private house, the station was opened by the Midland Railway in 1846, and closed well over a decade before the infamous Beeching report, in 1951.
