The shadows are lengthening, as 170502 passes Spetchley on 16 June 2004 with the 19:00 Bristol Temple Meads to Birmingham New Street Central Trains service. Clearly the loop line in the foreground is still well used, but what is not so obvious from this view is that there was formerly a loop on the other side as well.
