170507 Wye Valley Junction 17 March 2007

170507 leads an unidentified Class 158 past Wye Valley Junction (near Chepstow) on 17 March 2007 with the 09:00 Nottingham to Cardiff Central service. Although 170507 is in the then current Central Trains colour scheme, the Class 158 retains TransPennine Express livery. The overgrown remains of the line to Tidenham Quarry can be seen climbing steeply behind the train. This view is now totally impossible, as since Network Rail ceased controlling lineside vegetation, the location is now a tunnel of trees, with only a completely head on view possible.
