TransPennine Express are well known for their very poor customer service, but on 14 March 2022 they excelled themselves, with numerous trains cancelled, and a couple of trains from Hull cancelled, but then running as empty stock in exactly the same path! 185122 & 185104 pass Hambleton West Junction with the 5K22 14:07 Hull to Manchester Piccadilly ECS, running in place of the 1K22 14:07 Hull to Manchester Piccadilly. Note the 'Not In Service' in the destination blind.
