Some enthusiasts are obviously very hardy! With the temperature well below freezing, and with frost on the fields and track, a couple of passengers brave the cold to savour the noise of the English Electric 8SVT engine, as 20137 passes Hailes on 27 December 1995 with the 12:15 Toddington to Far Stanley service, during the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's traditional Christmas diesel running day. The Cotswold Hills should be visible in the background of this view, but are lost in the fog.
