20173 & 20189 pass Kingsbury on 31 May 1989 with the 8G15 Toton to Bescot departmental working. Note the variety of wagons, both vintage and relatively modern, and the inclusion of three brake vans. Also of note is 20173's non-standard livery. It is still in BR blue (yes, it really is under all that grime!), but with the addition of a red solebar and a number just above the coupling.
