In early 1994 several crew training trips took place between Bescot and Gloucester using British Rail Telecommunications Class 20s. With a cab full of drivers, 20187 & 20075 pass Ashchurch on 14 March 1994 with the route learner. They had worked down from Bescot with 20128 & 20131. The two pairs were split in the loop, and the other two can be seen waiting in the background to follow just five minutes later. 20187 & 20075 lived on to become 20309 & 20308 respectively. The red Peugeot 205 on the left was not so lucky, having been scrapped in 2005! |
