20215 & 20142 pass between the signal box and goods shed on the site of Whitwell station, whilst working the 2G91 12:46 Worksop to Chesterfield special on 1 September 1991. This was one of a number of special trains run in connection with the Worksop Open Day. The train would reverse a short distance up the line at Elmton & Creswell Junction, with 60069 (just visible on the rear) taking over to Chesterfield. Both the signal box and goods shed are long gone, but on the plus side, Whitwell station has reopened since this picture was taken.
