Just after sunrise on Saturday 26 September 2015, 220028 approaches Culham with the 1M22 06:15 Southampton to Manchester Piccadilly CrossCountry service. With the weak early morning sun lighting up the train, and Didcot Power Station's remaining cooling towers and chimney, but with a band of fog between the two, an atmospheric picture has resulted. This was pure luck, as had the fog been any nearer it would have been a completely different story! Not one for the 'Full Sun' brigade, but then I do like unusual lighting effects.
