221128 Kemble 30 December 2021

Voyagers are not an everyday sight on the Swindon to Cheltenham line, so this was worth recording, despite the awful weather. 221128 emerges from Kemble Tunnel at speed on 30 December 2021 with the 5S45 10:30 Bristol Temple Meads to Gloucester ECS. This was the unit allocated to the 1S45 10:39 Bristol Temple Meads to Aberdeen CrossCountry service, but due to severe flooding between Bristol and Gloucester, it started from Gloucester. As the unit ran empty from Bristol to Gloucester, via a reversal at Swindon, I don't quite see the logic of not letting passengers from Bristol use it!
