Vivarail's innovate Class 230 DEMU was used on a series of shuttle services along the Long Marston branch on 21 & 22 June 2017, in connection with the Rail Alliance Rail Live 2017 event. The unit uses former London Underground D78 stock, powered by Ford diesel engines. 230001 passes Broad Marston on 21 June with the shuttle service that had connected with the train that arrived at Honeybourne from London at 08:49.
