Class 442 5-WES 2402 accelerates away from Southampton station on 2 December 1998 with the 08:50 Waterloo to Poole South West Trains service. Note that one half of the front gangway door is open. Along with the rest of SWT's fleet. this unit was withdrawn in 2007, and then after reinstatement with Gatwick Express, withdrawn again a decade later.
