Class 423 4-VEP 3142 passes between the two wartime pillboxes at Potbridge on 16 March 1990, as it runs along the down relief line with the 13:05 Waterloo to Southampton Network SouthEast service. The lofty bridge in the background provides an excellent viewpoint for trains travelling in the opposite direction.
